Comfortable Fashion

To many this may seem like a oxymoron, but it really can happen. You don't have to be uncomfortable just to be fashionable. In fact, if you don't feel good in your clothes, it shows, so why wouldn't you want to look great and feel great at the same time? There are many factors that go into choosing comfortable clothes, and don't worry, sweat pants aren't an option here.

Buy clothes that fit you. Buying the correct size makes a world of difference. Don't try to fit into jeans that are a size too small, it will hurt and people will be able to tell. Also try searching out clothes that are made for your body type. You're not going to feel comfortable or fashionable if your clothes hit you in all the wrong places.

Find comfortable materials. Many fashionable clothes come in stretchy materials now. They look great, cling a little more, and even better, you can still move in them. Fabrics that are stiff and scratchy aren't comfortable and lucky for you a lot of styles out there use softer fabrics that feel nice next to the skin.

Shoes are a major part of your outift, and they can be the most uncomfortable. If your shoes hurt your feet you're going to be miserable all day. That's not worth it at all and you don't want to walk around with a limp. There are plenty of options for comfortable shoes. Flats are big now, and are often more comfortable than heels. Make sure when you're trying shoes on that you walk around a bit in them too, both at the store and at home, before making any permanent decision. Most shoe stores will let you return shoes that still have the tags and haven't gotten dirty, which means you can try them out around your house for an hour and see if you can stand them.
